# How do I exclude or include certain groups of employees?
## In the Ravio app you can choose to include or exclude employees from your integration.
You can set certain inclusions or exclusions for groups of employees during [onboarding](https://help.ravio.com/integration-settings-guide?hsLang=en).
If you want to edit these at any time, you can do so by visiting the URL [https://app.ravio.com/onboarding](https://app.ravio.com/onboarding).
If you scroll down to "Employee Visibility", you can re-configure these settings and let us know who to exclude or include.
This saves automatically, and the next time there is a sync with your HR system, this should refresh.
### How does this work?
We use information from the HR system to set up exclusion rules.
For example, if you want to change the visiility of contractors, by default we will look for anyone with an employment type or job title "Contractor" and exclude/ include these.
If you have any other ways of defining the employees whose visibility you would like to alter, you can reach out to us and let us know how you define these employees.
You can do this by clicking the "contact us" button at the top right hand corner of this article.
